Thanksgiving 2009
I was lucky enough to have my mom and stepdad come to NY for Thanksgiving this year. In addition, several of our friends were able to come over for dinner/drinks/dessert that night as well (Geoff, Bridget, and Patrice). It was a really great year! The food was A-mazing, and the whole atmosphere was relaxed and fun.
So, enough with the chit-chat. I know you’re all DYING to know...what did we EAT? Well, I’ll tell you. Meats? Honey baked ham and oven-roasted turkey (that we baked ourselves). Sides? *takes deep breath* Deviled eggs, collard greens, asparagus, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, brussel sprouts, sliced tomatoes, chicken stuffing, and rolls. And for dessert? Apple and pumpkin pies - a la mode, of course.
We all had a really great time, and my mom even commented that it was one of her favorite Thanksgivings EVER! And I’d have to agree.

So glad you guys had a great Thanksgiving! We stayed home and just relaxed… and hit up Boston Market because I didn’t want to cook and clean!

Ahhhh…glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving, with friends and family! So cool that your Mom and John got to come up to spend time with you too! Like the new site too…but heck, it’s what you do:)

It was an awesome Thanksgiving experience…especially getting to spend so much time with you two. Yummy food and being with your friends was an extra delight.
