RECIPE: Easy Peach Cobbler
This cobbler recipe has been passed down from my Great Aunt Bertha. Yes...I said Bertha. That means she’s a certified Southern lady, who knew how to cook. We made this tonight, and most of the work was done by my 3½ year old nephew, so you know it’s easy!
1 stick margarine or butter
1 cup milk
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup sugar (we used half Splenda, half sugar, and couldn’t tell the difference)
4 cups peaches, sweetened to taste (we made it even easier by using jarred peaches in light syrup)
Directions: Melt margarine in oven safe dish. Mix milk, flour and sugar. Add to margarine. Add peaches. Don’t stir. Bake at 375º for approximately 40 minutes. (We served with vanilla ice cream, of course!)

It was scrump-dilly-iscious!! If you want, you can brown the top after the 40-45 min. of cooking by turning on broil until golden. You can also use canned peaches in light syrup and it’s just as good. We used Dole in the jar.
